About

My name is Charlie Brooks and I am an Ithaca College graduate class of 2021. I have spent the last 2 years calling games at Seton Hall, Iona University, Manhattan College, Wagner College, NJIT, Fairleigh Dickinson, Lafayette College, Stevens, Mercy, Dominican and New Jersey City University. I have broadcasted men's and women's soccer, volleyball, basketball, field hockey, water polo, men's and women's lacrosse, baseball and softball during this time. 

 

I am originally from Morristown NJ and for the last 3 summers have been the play-by-play broadcaster for FC Motown, a semi-professional soccer team based in Morristown, NJ. I am the full time broadcaster this summer for Motown in the NPSL and USL League Two.

 

My passion for sports broadcasting started when I attended the Bruce Beck and Ian Eagle Sports Broadcasting Camp when I was in middle school and has evolved since. I have returned to the camp, now The Broadcasting Camp, as an intern and a guest speaker since my time as a camper.

During my time at Ithaca College I worked with WICB and VIC radio, broadcasting games as well as doing a weekly sports update. I broadcasted soccer, basketball, lacrosse and softball during my time at Ithaca College.
